Our school dive trips to Malta offer a complete learn-to-dive week designed for junior groups, combining high-quality training, comfortable accommodation, marine conservation activities and educational excursions, all fully supported by our experienced team. A complete learn-to-dive programme for schools
Our dive centre is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre, providing structured training from absolute beginners to qualified young divers. School groups can enjoy full Open Water training for new divers and fun dives for already certified students.
A safe, fully licensed centre
Safety is our first priority with any group, and especially with young divers. Maltaqua is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre and holds the POMA approval required as a diving school in Malta providing training for minors, issued under the country's POMA regulations ,In other words, your group will be in the care of a fully licensed, legally regulated dive centre. Our instructors are highly experienced and used to working with young people, and we keep our training groups small to ensure close supervision throughout.
On-site accommodation for groups
We offer group accommodation just 100 metres from the dive centre, with space for up to 34 guests. Facilities include shared rooms for students, separate rooms for teachers, a dedicated wet room for washing and storing dive equipment, and kitchen facilities.
Airport transfers and daily transport
We arrange all transfers, including a 24-hour airport meet-and-greet service. Daily transport to the dive sites is also included.
Marine conservation and educational add-ons
We work closely with the Malta National Aquarium and Sharklab Malta, allowing us to offer unique educational experiences such as private behind-the-scenes aquarium tours, workshops with marine biologists, and activity days focused on ray, skate and shark conservation. These are ideal for geography, biology and environmental science programmes.
Cultural and historical excursions
Optional dry-day activities can include a guided visit to the historic city of Mdina, a cultural day in Valletta (Malta's UNESCO capital), and custom itineraries based on curriculum needs.
